First carbon fiber bike I've owned. Bought it in May 2013 and rode it 3x/week until Nov. It's comfortable, takes bumps well, accelerates nicely, and I love it! Still like my recumbent more though, even though it's a lot heavier and slower acceleration. I've had no shifting issues, brakes are fine. I got a bigger "small" front chain ring 'cause the lowest gears were too low for the flatlands riding that I do.
I ride 5000 to 7000 miles a year. I bought this Roubaix about 3 months ago. I love the bike, not so much a fan of Apex. My shifting jumps all over. I have had it serviced from LBS I bought it from and they have no idea how to remedy the issue. We called SRAM to see if it was possibly a warranty issue and they said no. It just shifts poorly all around, both directions, both front chainrings. Going to upgrade to Force wifli to see if it helps. Wish the Apex worked as well as previous Ultegra did. If it did, this would be almost a perfect bike, even being on the bottom end of the line. The ride is so smooth. I am a bigger rider and it is the most comfortable bike I have owned.
